The board of Avanista & Co. is chaired by Dr. Godswill Ihetu (PhD, The City University, London), whose career spanned roles in Shell-BP, Nigeria Liquified Natural Gas (NLNG), and Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), from which he retired in 1999. At the time of his retirement, Dr. Ihetu was Group Executive Director, Engineering and Technical Services Directorate. He is a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (FNSE) and a keen golfer.

At the helm of operations is the Managing Director, Maxwell Marshall. Holding a Master’s Degree in Architecture, Maxwell has built a diverse, multi-disciplinary professional career born of his fundamental interest in seeing the transition from “good idea” to “impact on reality”. He has functioned as Team-Member, Collaborator, and Leader over the past 25 years as an architect, consultant, and social entrepreneur in enterprises that include Program Development, Capacity Building, Communications, Training, and Business Process Management.
